Article 1: All Argentinians, born or resident and foreigners, without limit of age..

Article 2:

Article 3: Each participant must send a maximum of 2 exhibits (two), original and not previously published.

Inscription fee: $AR 30 for Argentinians (born or resident). 30 U$S for foreigners

Article 4: Following a strict order of registration, the exhibits will figure in a full color catalog, with the author's name, title of the exhibit, city and country.

All registered participants will have the right to be included in a general catalog of the exhibits.

Article 5: You should send and email with the following attachments:

  1. Registration form. This is available on Web site
    www.bienal-sanluis.com.ar

  2. Scanned registration payment receipt.

  3. Brief resume (C.V.) of the artist (Word format) of not more than 4.000 characters per space 1,5 body 12.

  4. Scanned I.D. or passport (optional).

  5. Photo of the artist, 4x4 cm, in jpg resolution 300 dpi.

  6. One or two (1 or 2) color photo, jpg format 300 dpi, showing the work to be exhibited. If the image is selected, it will be printed in A3/A2 size, as long as it does not pixel, exhibited and reproduced in the Catalog with its Title, Name of the Artist and Year of execution. For abstract work you should give directions for hanging. (Data should agree with the inscription form.)

Article 6: All exhibits should be sent from June 1, 2011, to April 1, 2012, to bienal@ssycc.com

Article 7: Once registration form and material is received, we will email you confirmation of reception.

Article 8: The list of selected exhibits will be available as of April 20, 2012 at
www.bienal-sanluis.com.ar web site.

Article 9: Selected exhibits will be received according to Art. 6.

Article 10: Selected exhibits will remain in charge of the Municipality of San Francisco del Monte de Oro, until December 30, 2012, being responsible for the itinerant exhibition.

Article 11: NO exhibits considered of a pornographic or discriminatory nature will be accepted.

Article 12: The organizers will only accept exhibits sent in place and time according to Art. 6.

Article 14: The organizers will replace any jury member absent due to unforeseen circumstances.

Article 15: The Jury members will deliberate in secret, only authorized persons will be admitted to assist at the deliberations. Prizes will be awarded individually. The decisions of the Jury, once signed by all the members, will be without appeal.

Article 16: The awards will appear in the web page www.bienal-sanluis.com.ar as of April 20, 2012.

Article 17:

First Prize NATURE & LIFE: U$S 1000.-

First Prize DIGITAL ART: U$S 1000.-

Special Mention

The artists of the selected works will facilitate the Municipality of San Francisco del Monte de Oro everything necessary for exhibiting and preserving the exhibits.

Article 18: The prizes mentioned in Art. 17 will be taxed according to possible local legal requirements.

Article 19: The selected and winning exhibits will be shown in a collective exhibition opening on April 26, 2012, at 8 p.m. when prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Article 20:The organizers reserve the right to show the exhibits mentioned above for promotional aims, with the artist's agreement, until December 30, 2012.

Article 21: The organizers reserve the right to photograph or film the exhibits for promotional and documentation aims, as well as publishing.

Article 23: Any transgression to the Rules and Conditions as detailed in the above articles will automatically cancel the artist's participation in the contest, without right of appeal.

Article 24: The participation in this contest implies the knowledge and agreement to the Rules and Conditions stipulated, having the value of a sworn statement.

Article 25: Any unforeseen situation will be solved by the organizers.

Article 26: The organization will not be held responsible for cases of plagiarism; if these arise,the responsibility will lie with the person who presented the material.



This form has the value of a sworn statement. By it you accept and agree to the Rules and Conditions of the Biennial of Digital Art and Photography.
