Why the Biennial - Photography & Digital Art?

This is a way of showing how modern technology can be applied to the visual arts within the framework of the bicentennial May Revolution celebrations.

Why the Province of San Luis?

Because it was the first province to accept the Revolution originated in Buenos Aires, on the same day that the news arrived in 1810.

Because it is the first province of the country that accepts and stimulates the Digital Technology, 200 years later.

Why San Francisco del Monte de Oro?

In 1826, fifteen year old Sarmiento (a principal character in the history of Argentina) begins teaching the local inhabitants to read and write. This simple school still stands thanks to the care of the authorities and the people as a center of historical and cultural interest.
